If you have decided to visit Seville in April you're in luck. Spring is Seville's most symbolic season and April this year will host Easter Week.
During this month, the city hits the home straight for preparations for Easter. You'll come across young and old getting ready for the festivities and practicing.

This year, we will be welcoming Easter Week at the beginning of April, or specifically on Friday 7 April. We will say farewell to the month with the Fair and the "Alumbrao" on Saturday 29 April.
However, Seville in spring is much more than Easter and the Fair. It also involves culture, which is why we want you to know everything you can enjoy in April when visiting Seville.
If you are travelling as a family over the first weekend in April, make sure you catch Big Bang Festival. This international music festival will be celebrating its third edition in Seville with a programme aimed at children and comprised of concerts, workshops and facilities that seek to spark an interest in kids for the endless world of music. You should also check out the fifth edition of Sevilla Swing Festival, which will take place from 31 March to 2 April and which will hold activities on Calle Madre de Dios near Hotel Murillo and Las Cruces Apartments. Consult the activities on offer here
The International Mobile Stage of Art and Disability will take place in March and April as the culmination of the First Mobile Stage Choreography of Inclusive Dance 21-23 April.
