Night visits to the Real Alcázar de Sevilla
Today on our blog we want to talk about one of the most important monuments in Seville, thanks especially to the series Game of Thrones: the Real Alcázar de Sevilla.
Why are we talking about the Real Alcázar de Sevilla this week?
More than anything, because we love it. It is one of the most important symbols of Seville, the oldest royal palace in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This palace oozes history. Christians, Arabs and Jews lived here. Its nine hectares, forming the palce and its surroundings, have seen every culture inhabiting Seville: Romans, Visigoths, Almoravids, Almohads, Christians...
Thanks to its strategic location in the Santa Cruz district, you can easily access it from our establishments: our hotel and suites are less than a minutes away. In the case of Suites Murillo Alcázar, the building directly opposite it is the Real Alcázar de Sevilla.

This week we are discussing this monument as if you are visiting Seville in summer you can enjoy dramatised night visits. They are quickly becoming a highlight of Seville's summer nights.
All summer, up to 27 October, you can enjoy night visits to this monument. These involve theatre performances with historic characters that will guide you through the different palaces and gardens. You will discover their history and that of the famous people who inhabited them.
These guided tours are available every Thursday and Friday in summer. Four tours are given, each for a maximum of 45 people. For this reason you must book in advance. The first tour is at 9pm and there is one every half an hour up to 10.30pm. They last 75 minutes. Make sure you arrive a little beforehand. Price: €13/person.
