Everyone relates Seville with the month of April and its famous Fair. Although not only why it's worth coming to Seville in April. The city offers the visitor other ideal possibilities during this month.
That's why in this post we will not talk about the Fair, we already did it last year and we do not want to repeat ourselves. But if you come the week of Fair CLICK HERE you may be interested. Today we want to tell you what we would do if we came to Seville in April and feel like a true Sevillian.
The temperatures during the month of April in Seville are usually pleasant. When the sun rises, it is great with something light and at night it refreshes and you will always have to wear something more warm. So there is an ideal climate and our recommendation is: stroll, walk, walk, live the city on the street as we Sevillians do.
Do not only know its monuments, (which of course and is fundamental), but stroll through its populous neighborhoods like Triana or Alameda. Visit its food markets (Triana or San Gonzalo) in the mornings, when it is full of Sevillians buying.
When you walk through the center, look at the shop windows and you will surely discover the women talking about their flamenco dresses or what they are going to put on at Feria. Because although the Fair lasts a week, the Sevillian lives the preparations of the Fair since Holy Week ends.
Stop between visit and visit to drink something in a terrace, preferably, those that you see full of Sevillians, it does not matter if it is standing. We love meeting friends and we do not have to sit on a terrace, we prefer to stand, it's more dynamic. And if you have a chance, ask for wines from the land, not only the famous fino and manzanilla, but also the reds from Seville or Cádiz, or wonderful whites that we have. But if you want something lighter, ask for Aljarafe must, it is with alcohol, which comes from the first juice of the squeezed grape. Finish your routes at noon or at night in the Plaza del Salvador, Seville's meeting place since Roman times, or in the Alameda, the first public park that existed in Europe.
And to end the day, have a drink on a terrace overlooking Seville, like ours at Hotel Murillo . This way you will feel a true Sevillian.
